Happy Back to School, everyone! 

I have no idea how it's possible it is already August. I feel like we were just saying goodbye to our amazing group of Seniors, but here we are at the beginning of another school year! 

Boosters has already been hard at work planning for the year and purchasing items for the theater such as new lighting and mics. We sent Mr. Nettle on a professional development trip to NYC for the "Broadway Teacher Workshop"  in July where he did workshops and master classes with broadway professionals. All possible thanks to YOU and your generosity last year!

Now it's time for all of us to look ahead. This year is sure to be one for the books with an incredible lineup of shows consisting of Puffs, a Holiday Spectacular, Sweeney Todd, and Legally Blonde!  None of these productions would be possible without your support. On average, DAB spends $10,000 on each show for sets, lighting, costumes etc. all funded through DAB memberships.

The Dramatic Arts Boosters support the drama and vocal programs at PVHS. Through the generosity of families, friends, and local businesses, DAB has been able to provide numerous resources to the drama department including costumes, set materials, and sound and lighting improvements that have substantially upgraded the quality of our plays, musicals and other performances. We’ve also funded scripts, royalties, music arrangements, competition fees, travel, and meals for cast and crew throughout the year. We work closely with Mr. Nettle to assess the program’s continuing needs

This year, we will be collecting an enrichment fee up front at the beginning of the year.  If your child plans to participate in a show for the upcoming year (performing in or helping with tech) or go to the District Thespian competition, this fee will be required. This will cover all meals during tech weeks and include show t-shirts, a water bottle and your registration fee for districts. As well as lunch and dinner on day of Districts and dinner the first night of State Thespian Festival.

Drama Club/Tech Club enrichment fees will be $225 and those in 7th period Production class will be $275.  (YOU DO NOT PAY BOTH, those in production class only pay the Production class enrichment fee which covers an extra show.)

This fee is equivalent to a team fee that all other teams at our school require to participate.

SAVE $25 by paying before September 2nd! Drama Club enrichment fee $200 and Production Class Fee $250 if paid before September 2nd!
